Thank you for choosing Inside the Outdoors, the environmental education program administered by the Orange County Department of Education since 1974.
 

     

Our free Wonders of H2O Traveling Scientist programs are fully funded by the Municipal Water District of Orange County and your local water provider. These programs are open to 6th through 12th grades at eligible Orange County schools. 

• Classes approved for this program are expected to complete pre- and post-program student assessments and provide teacher feedback.

**Before beginning this application, please have the student count for each grade level and the names and email addresses for each teacher who will be participating, as well as three preferred dates for your program. You will have one week from the last time you click "Next" to complete this application.

Considerations:

• Refer to the school master calendar to avoid scheduling conflicts.
• Estimate the number of students. This number will be used on the c ontract that we will initiate with your school/district.
• You will receive confirmation of your confirmed date(s) of participation in 5-10 business days, if your preferred dates are available. Otherwise, we will contact you to find alternate dates that work.
• Cancellations and adjusted enrollment require at least 20 business days notice prior to participation.
